so i'm remixing a game and i'm adding some stuff to it (like jump pads and speed boosters) but the speed booster only works to the left! If you could help with this problem I would really appreciate it. If i have to delete previous code then do tell me what code and why

i think i've shared it now, and just so you know, the booster block is red

You made the booster block the same color as the lava so you just die and respawn.

Also, in the

if <<touching color [#ff1100] ?> and <key [right arrow v] pressed?>> then

end

you repeat until not touching red which will stop the execution meaning no physics (-> moving) is done so the player is stuck.

but they aren't the same color?
boost is red and lava is orange.

Not on “back1”, which gets used when I start the game. After doing the above it worked for me.


Edit: I would recommend using completely different colors for the two because it might be difficult to differentiate.

im giving up on this for now, ill probably try to return to it after a while but not now.
