Maybe a follow button for comments sections could be good. What this would do is that when you follow it, you get notifications from the comment section like as if you owned the project or it was your profile. The button could appear in studios, profiles, and projects. This could be useful if there's a studio you're really active in and you want to stay up to date, or there's a project on one of your alternative accounts and you want to get comment notifications from it.
The only major con I can think of is confusion, but maybe there can be a question mark next to the follow button you can click on which tells you what it does.
