What's “What the community is sharing” mean? Of corse the project is shared, or you would not see it on the website, but nobody else can share the same project.

It's basically the “Newest Projects” section. I think.

It's basically the “Newest Projects” section. I think.^This sums it up quite well.
It's just a collection of projects that were recently shared (or uploaded, if using Scratch 1.4) to the website.
Sadly, my forum signature was eaten by an evil kumquat.
