I think with vanilla Scratch 1.4 you can open an animated GIF and it will add each frame as a costume, so it should work that way in Dream.

Gonna make it, and will special thank @dreamod and MIT Lab for this.
However, on negatve side, it is gonna be very different, so this might take at least some months. (might include HTML blocks(Webblox referce, I am giving stom credit to it's creator), some new categories, 3-D blocks, text-to-speech blocks, custom blocks, child-friendly mode,compilablility with Scratch 2.0, and ScratchX,also with Webblox and BYOB, cloud lists, .etc)

A lot of the stuff your saying is goig to be very hard to do…
WebBlox used an entirely different way to save files than how Scrstch did and if you add compilability with Scratch 2.0 then you can't have all those features.
Also scratch 2.0 uses a different save method than 1.4

Compilability with Scratch 2.0 idea, I am going to remove it.
Also can you give me link to download Webblox to test it out. I will add Normal mode and HTML mode, because I am learning HTML. (maybe)

I am doing it. However you cannot save a file, that is a bug, i downloaded from Mediafire. Well, atleast I made it public again.

2. Open cmd and cd to the source directory.
   
3. Run the command:
   

   "Web Blox.exe" "Web Blox.image" dev

4. You can now turn off fill-screen mode from the Compile menu.

I searched through my old laptop backup and found the Web Blox downloads. They should be the same as the ones from the Web Blox website. Saving works in this version.
