How do you get and use cloud variables to save progress?

Hi, to get cloud variables, you have to select the Cloud Variable option when adding a new variable.

Cloud Variables only can store numbers, unlike normal variables.

You need to be a Scratcher to use Cloud Variables (you can see it on your profile)

They're currently down by the way if that's what you're wondering.

Cloud variables cant save progress, they're used to keep global highscores and such

saving progress is usually accomplished by encoding and decoding - i’m not the biggest expert, but you can read up here

Cloud variables are a broad topic, what exactly do you need a tutorial for?

You must be a Scratcher to use cloud variables. Then, when making a variable, check the “Cloud variable” checkmark on the screen.

Cloud variables are quite flexible, and you can use them in various scenarios - from high scores to online games to whitelist chats. There are lots of different tutorials for different topics, and you can do some research based on which field you want to use in your project
