ステージ1,2にはドッスンは登場しませんが、ステージ3の最初、土管の上、中間（ドカン地帯と落ちる床地帯の間にある島）、ステージ4の最初、土管の上、アイテムBOXの上、ゴール前などにいるので、それには注意です。
