some notes:

• your save code will preserve the format that you entered your date and time in. if you use someone else's save code, it might display the time in a different format from what you're used to!
  
• the linked project is the 3rd version of my create-a-countdown project.
  
• save codes from the other two versions will not work in the 3rd version, but you are welcome to post save codes from the other two projects here if you'd like to.
  
• i do recommend using the 3rd version, as it both looks and works better than the previous versions.
