It's pretty fun, I remember playing Sands of Time on the MCC Island live event, and this is basically that along with some MMORPG elements to it that are added in a way that doesn't feel too grindy and adds a gameplay loop around it for a good amount of replayability.

They do have the open areas where it has a bit more of that open mmorpg feel with a few events and hidden item areas that are worth getting and going through the dungeons themselves is pretty satisfying to try to get through enough gold hoards and side stuff to get good ranks as you get more time and gear and stuff.

The main reason I hop on bedrock from time to time is for the servers, and I think I could get a good amount of gameplay hours out of this.
(also I was kinda in that state where I don't have something to play on for hours on end so I'm sort of relying on this to fill the gap so I'm not doomscrolling on youtube)

I heard about that, but when you think about it, this isn't the first time they've gotten a lawsuit, far from it. Part of the lawsuit was on Mojang and their server treatment, and other parts of it was directly about Microsoft's treatment of the former migration, which could be enough to get a fair amount of support from Microsoft themselves. Who do you think is going to win, a person using funds that are enough to buy a decent house or a team backed by a multi-billion dollar company?

Vibrant visuals is so peak, though i still use the Photon and Bliss Shaders because they are way better then Vibrant vistals

In case you forgot, the latest game drop added a customizable debug screen for Java edition where you can toggle values to show in the debug screen or not, or even to show them at all times. (For example, making the fps counter on at all times)
You can even turn the debug screen on in the menu!

Basically, you can now pop up the debug screen to only check the things you want such as coordinates and light level without stuff you don't want taking up half the screen.

Alright, a new snapshot has been released, so let's have a rundown on what's in it.

Mounts such as horses, donkeys, and camels can now swim in water without you automatically dismounting.

Husk camels will spawn in the desert, and they have two riders: a husk with a spear and a desert skeleton called a “Parched” that gives you weakness when it shoots you.

If you're wondering about their lunge enchantment fixes, the hunger used in the lunge has been reduced to 1 point for I, two for II, and three for III, and 1 durability is taken for each lunge. The lunge can also use saturation instead of hunger, so if you eat high-saturation foods like steak and golden carrots you can use it more consistently.
I think they might have struck a good balance, but what do you guys think?

thats a good balance, and im glad that they reduced it, and i love that they are adding the new camel and a desert skeleton variant

Using exhaustion seems pretty balanced compared to taking 128 durability so I think it is pretty good.

mooshrooms are broken on bedrock edition; the mushrooms on their back have an odd emission to them, making them render completely white (and sometimes completely black). this is the same update that makes nearby entities translucent.

I feel so bad for the people who bought Luiminous Dreams on the bedrock marketplace LOL
context: the 1.0 alpha version for bedrock is available on the internet and judging from the photos of the release version, it’s basically the same shader, so you can buy a free version of a 5 dollar shader that are the same and are both from the creator

Wait, when you think about it, the parched will probably drop arrows of weakness like the stray and bogged dropped slowness and poison tipped arrows respectively… meaning that you can cure zombie villagers earlier in the game!
