Minecraft Topic III: My mom says it's nice!
Sorry for saying “the majority of servers” in my earlier post. By that I meant “the majority of monetized servers” although that might not be true either. I changed my post to correct that.

By pay-to-win I mean major advantages in games that a) can't be accessed easily without paying and b) are usable in games with people who haven't paid. But if it would affect a server they could just give the server some few months notice before they actually implement the EULA.Well, that would basically end the majority of servers since they usually have some sort of paid extra boost that you can get. It can also be hard to distinguish in some cases what is counted as stuff you can already get but you get it faster or actual pay-to-win stuff.*compaining about mineville*The EULA should ban pay-to-win servers. Pay-to-play is fine - pay-to-win is just boring.
Technically, they do have a policy about banning paid lootboxes with pay-to-win loot in them or banning things that give competitive advantages that aren't fun but there are a bunch of exceptions and loopholes with it that they're basically allowed.
I do agree that some changes need to be made, but it's also important to distinguish between individual cases.
This is and isn’t related to this discussion,
But isn’t mojang (people who made Minecraft) getting sued due to something related about the EULA or terms of agreement or whatever it was

I heard about that, but when you think about it, this isn't the first time they've gotten a lawsuit, far from it. Part of the lawsuit was on Mojang and their server treatment, and other parts of it was directly about Microsoft's treatment of the former migration, which could be enough to get a fair amount of support from Microsoft themselves. Who do you think is going to win, a person using funds that are enough to buy a decent house or a team backed by a multi-billion dollar company?*conversation about pay-to-win-servers and the EULA

I mean, their still technically breaking the law and he just needs enough money for the lawsuit to work

Have you guys tried Axiom? I have been using it for a couple weeks and I really like it because of the color picker, the fact that with a press of a button it brings you into an edit menu, a 10th hotbar slot to move, clone, select, and more, all in one mod.

And it isn't laggy, I am still using a 12 year old laptop…
Pls if you quote this, snip the images
This has got to be the best Java mod for building…

In the latest snapshot, the lunge enchantment now decreases hunger instead of durability.
Here's how it works now:
Lunge I costs 1.5 shanks (3 hunger, about as much as much as a carrot)
Lunge II costs 2 shanks (4 hunger, about as much as much an apple)
Lunge III costs 2.5 shanks (5 hunger, about as much as a bread)
It seems to eat up hunger regardless of your saturation, without reducing saturation and only reducing hunger.

Well, I guess they thought that reducing hunger was better than reducing the previous durability cost that made a netherite spear break in 15 uses.In the latest snapshot, the lunge enchantment now decreases hunger instead of durability.Jeez, they just keep pushing out new updates for lunge. I actually have no idea. I haven't had time to play Minecraft, other than test it out in creative, then use creative to get a spear and fight someone else to see how it handles, but that's about it.how do you craft/get the spear, anyways?I would rather lose a netherite spear than lose the ability to heal, but that's just me.Well, I guess they thought that reducing hunger was better than reducing the previous durability cost that made a netherite spear break in 15 uses.In the latest snapshot, the lunge enchantment now decreases hunger instead of durability.Jeez, they just keep pushing out new updates for lunge. For those of you who play bedrock edition, what’s your opinion on SoulSteel? I played it and I think it’s really fun. It is not pay-to-win like I expected it to be.
