The “does modern minecraft feel like minecraft” debate has been done over a lot of times. There's even people who say that beds don't feel like Minecraft and those were added years ago. What I'm saying is, I'm pretty sure that it's mainly your nostalgia kicking in.

Lore and RPG? the new stuff being added is just stuff in the game, the game does not have any in game lore really.

More modern versions have limited that though, with the Ancient Cities and stuff, they're limitations that you have to follow. But I like that, trying to write “lore” of sorts around limitations is fun. Plus, ad-libbing the reason for something is great.

I feel like the main thing with Merl that is the reason for why it can't answer basic questions is because it only draws its information from minecraft.net articles and help stuff. And that doesn't really include, you know, basic math.

but it's pretty dumb even considering that

No not for me, but sometimes it will randomly tell me I am using unsuitable language.

I do not actually use it though, I only use it like once a week because it is fun to see what basic questions it refuses to help with. I do not really know how it would ever be more useful than a google search or something.

Can Microsoft/Mojang like… figure out how to sync skins between console and other devices PROPERLY? I literally cannot deal with having to redo my skins on one device and the other device being reset because it decided to sync to my XBOX (which DOESNT have custom skins) INSTEAD and it’s so annoying having to constantly having to import my skins again. If Microsoft/mojang maybe figured out a way to have CONSOLE GET CUSTOM SKINS FROM OTHER BEDROCK VERSIONS then that would be cool too bc I get to run around as koops from paper mario on Xbox WITHOUT having to redo everything (yes I understand game development is hard but atleast give players the option to opt out of data syncing between devices?)

update - I have to re-download half of the skins again because of the glitch that makes the game not recognize custom skin resolutions
