I don't know too much about server ownership myself, but I think this video might be helpful.

With the new F3 changes coming, we can now have a plain fps counter in regular, unmodded Minecraft and won't need to have the entire bottom right of the screen getting flooded every time I look at a block of dirt.

This update might be worth reupdating my mods for.

How so? And what version did you start playing Minecraft on?

Also, you're not forced to play later versions of Minecraft. You can just pop onto earlier versions easily with Java, and even on bedrock you can just download a free older map (all marketplace maps are in a self-contained version locks), set the gamemode to survival, then go out into the regular Minecraft parts of the world.

If you're playing modded why not just get the betterf3 mod

Because now there's a vanilla equivalent, so you don't need to mod it in anymore…

Weird thing is, Minecraft feels like Minecraft to me. For a while I thought it didn't feel like Minecraft but now it feels normal. The complete opposite of usual.

Minecraft's new game drop is going to be called The Copper Age.

I feel like game drops are basically Mojang's way of responding to less update hype is with making smaller, less hypeable drops, and this name kinda proves it.

And the best part of the update isn't even the copper, it's the f3, chat, and technical changes to Java.
The F3 menu is customizable and nether portal softlocks can finally be foiled!
