Minecraft Topic III: My mom says it's nice!
All these updates are making it really annoying for me to get my mods updated.
Seriously, Mojang, the game drops system might be ok for casual players, but for people who actually use mods, servers, or really anything that's hard to update to the latest version, it is kinda annoying.

Though the release pre-1.13 update (excluding 1.8) cycle with the three updates release a year was a nicer balance than 4 small drops per year though the 1.8 + 1.13 on-wards update cycle was not bad though

All these updates are making it really annoying for me to get my mods updated.I don't use any of those things but the updates are still way too fast to keep up with

It's entirely possible it's on Minecraft Preview on Bedrock and a snapshot on Java.Since when did the copper gear get added (unless if that’s in the experimental section for PC only)I mean the most recent update that has actually been releasedIt’s kinda weird that they added a lava chicken music disk in the most recent update :pCorrection, they added the 8-bit lava chicken disc in the second most recent update. Steve: Is that Jason from Friday the 13th?!
Jason Momoa: Did someone say Jason?
Jason from Friday the 13th: There must have been a MASSIVE misunderstanding
Ninja: Did someone say MASSIVE?

steve: wait, that isn't the right game

(#8677)rookie numbers, i have at least 4k hours within the past like year and a halfI have 687 hours….(#8669)I have played for 325 hours on nintendo switch alone. I have around 100 on PS5 as wellI probably have like a MASSIVE 250-300 if you include the xbox edition but my disc for that brokeI'm so cooked I have a MASSIVE 57 hours of playtimeIs that all? I've had like over 200-400 hours in Minecraft. Unless you're talking about Minecraft legends. If you spent 57 hours in that game you are definitely cooked.
Edit: its actually 3k hours, i pressed 4 instead of 3 and didnt notice until now lol

Minecraft Topic III: My mom says it's nice!
A new preview just dropped.
First up, when copper golems oxidize, they turn into “Copper Golem Statue Blocks” that are basically like bedrock armor stands. They can be put into poses manually or by redstone, but I think this could be in both versions (unlike Becrock's armor stands). (Wait, this is what the Tuff Golem did! I guess that means that it did get into the game after all, even if it's in another form.) You can use an axe to turn the blocks back into golems (Wait, I can carry a mob straight off the bat? This is great for organization and mobility!) They can be put into the 4 existing copper types, and they can also hold items! (like all the copper types, the statue blocks can also be waxed to keep specific oxidization levels.) You can reanimate them by scraping off the unoxidized copper statue block. Of course, this does mean that after quite a while of playing, you might need to re-axe your copper golems for sorting, but that might mean bees get to be more useful!
Next up…
Dye textures are changing! This is so that dyes can be more cohesive across the board and to help people with certain colorblind impairments! (I don't know what this'll mean for servers that use dyes as icons, though…)
Mobs can now spawn with copper armor! (Wait, does that mean chainmail is completely obsolete?)
And last but not least…
Shelves are coming to Minecraft! These can be crafted by putting 6 stripped logs of the same wood type together on the top and bottom rows to make six shelves! Shelves can be in all of the existing wood types. (Even bamboo!) Shelves can be placed on walls and can display 3 items from your inventory, adding more customization capabilities for your builds! And that's not all… When you right click on a redstone-powered shelf with your hotbar, the shelf can actually switch out 3 of your hotbar slots with the ones on the shelf at the same time, adding more capabilities for hotbar and inventory management. If you put shelves of the same type side-by-side and power them with redstone, you can even switch out entire hotbars in a flash!
(And a whole bunch of fixes for the stuff that was already added, of course)
