hey guys! Bedrock or Java ? (exclude mods from your reasons) (and you are crazy if you go for bedrock)
I would say java due to pvp and to probably being easier to control when building. I play in bedrock tho and I prefer it when ut comes to graphics.

Yeah, ur right tbh, in bedrock it's a lot more darker so yeah.

heyo! In my opinion, bedrock is better because it has better graphics like u said and the coordinates are easy to find

idk, probably those would need heavy moding and loads of activity to be worth it.
I would actually probably use this twist i used that has custom abilities and weapons for if u get a certain mobs head (the abilities were all made using command blocks which took a lot of set up, so I would probably only use the weapons but who knows
Would mobs drop their head if you killed them or would you need to do it vanilla?

and what about optifine users who have a super cool cape that they made, would they get superpowers just because they had a mod that alters the gameplay experience for them as far as we are concerned

look, i'm not saying it's a bad idea. However, it has some flaws that need to be worked out.

Bedrock, for the dye cauldrons, block entities being push able with a piston, and my favorite, the being spitballed by a llama death message

those are addable by mods + you can access hypixel and other java servers (edit: those wont have your mods of block entity pushing but its still java servers)

edit 2: java bcuz its not full of paid garbage. also the partnered servers litterally require payment for any real gameplay on persistent gamemodes.

tbh when you're not including mods my oppinion is quite different
however now that I think about it I prefer bedrock just because harder wither

I think that bedrock's “Fast” graphics are kinda bad compared to Java's “Fast” graphics, and the lighting on Java tends to feel more natural to me overall. Also, we can get graphics mods for free.
And… yeah debug screen can kindof be a mess, but there are mods that can cut down on it and it tells you stuff like what your light level is, your FPS and ping, and more.
