Minecraft Topic III: Absolutely fixed relatively broken coordinates
Nah it didn't workI lost full enchanted armor to oneDid you know, wither skeletons are useless? wither skeletons deserve to die
I heard exploding a stray with a charged creeper will get you a wither skull.
Don't count on it though I'm gonna go test it.

Ok I'm not a survival player but isn't it easier to find a wither skeleton than it is to get a charged creeper?Did you know, wither skeletons are useless? wither skeletons deserve to die

Channeling trident makes getting charged creepers easy, the hard part is not causing them to blow up before you want them to.Ok I'm not a survival player but isn't it easier to find a wither skeleton than it is to get a charged creeper?Did you know, wither skeletons are useless? wither skeletons deserve to die

I'm fairly sure a channeling trident hitting a charged creeper causes copper to oxidise, too.Channeling trident makes getting charged creepers easy, the hard part is not causing them to blow up before you want them to.Ok I'm not a survival player but isn't it easier to find a wither skeleton than it is to get a charged creeper?Did you know, wither skeletons are useless? wither skeletons deserve to die

EDIT: I forgot to actually say something in this. That's what the fletching table could be used for: crafting special arrows! If anyone here has played Tears of the Kingdom, you know that fusing stuff to arrows is surprisingly useful.Hmmm…that would be cool! BIG POST INCOMING - I GAVE YOU SECTIONS TO SNIP PLEASE USE THEM yes ik i'm stealing autothekat's system but still its important
My idea is a TotK-style fuse system for arrows, where different items can get you different arrows. You could fuse up to maybe 16 arrows with 1 item, so to craft a stack of fused arrows you'd need 4 of whatever you want to fuse.
Items you could fuse:
TNT - Exploding Arrow - Creates a small explosion on impact with a wall or entity.
Any Potion - Tipped Arrow of <Potion> - Applies a potion effect when hitting a player.
Iron Ingot - Iron Arrow - Increases damage by 15%
Gold Ingot - Golden Arrow - Increases damage by 30%, but the arrow travels a much shorter distance (gold is heavy)
Diamond - Diamond Arrow - Increases damage by 50%.
Copper Ingot - Lightning Arrow - Decreases damage by 50%, but summons lightning on hit if a thunderstorm is active.
Emerald - Emerald Arrow - Increases damage by 30%.
Lapis Lazuli - Enchanted Arrow - Causes arrows to slightly veer towards the closest entity, basically slight aimbot
Redstone - Charged Arrow - Decreases damage by 25%, will activate redstone wire if it lands on it.
Glowstone - Spectral Arrow - Causes the entity hit to glow for a short period of time.
Any Fish - Swimming Arrow - Arrow slows in water 50% less.
Blaze Rod - Fire Arrow - Catches the arrow on fire even if you don't have Fire Aspect on your bow. The arrow also can't be put out by water.
Breeze Rod - Wind Arrow - Creates a small wind burst on impact.
Feather - Feathered Arrow - Increases damage by 5%, and travels much further.
Stone or Iron Axe - Splitting Arrow - Disables shields.
Ender Pearl - Ender Arrow - Teleports the user to where the arrow lands.
Compass - Locator Arrow - Veers slightly towards the closest entity.
Echo Shard - Echo Arrow - Creates a loud noise where it lands. Incredibly distracting for Wardens. (Also useful for jumpscaring people)
Bone Meal - Earth Arrow - Applies a bone meal effect when it lands.
Resin Clump Block - Resin Arrow - Breaks apart on impact, leaving resin clumps on the ground. (Requires a block to make, as to prevent resin duplication)
== Special Arrows == (These use much rarer materials but have much more powerful effects.)
Heavy Core - Heavy Arrow - Increases damage by 500%, but travels a very short distance. Also instantly breaks shields if hit. Creates a 1 minute cooldown after fired from a bow and deals 10 hits of durability instead of 1, to both armor and the bow it's fired from. Cannot be placed in a crossbow. If the arrow travels less than 5 blocks then it only deals a 100% increase in damage, less than 3 blocks only deals 50% increase, and 1 block or less does not increase arrow damage. (This is to prevent bowspamming close to a player to kill them quickly)
Enchanted Golden Apple - God Arrow - Increases damage by 150%, and also catches fire, doesn't slow down in water, goes further, creates lightning on impact if fired during a thunderstorm, and explodes on impact. Kinda overpowered. (Can only have 8 crafted at a time rather than 16) (Might have to be nerfed)
== Special Cases ==
Netherite Arrow - Rather than be crafted at a fletching table, a Netherite Arrow is the result of upgrading Diamond Arrows at a Smithing Table. Up to a stack can be upgraded at a time. Increases damage by 100%, but travels a shorter distance.
Spectral Arrows can still be crafted the regular way, and obtained from piglin bartering and loot chests.
Tipped arrows can still be crafted in both existing ways, and still obtained from villagers, strays, boggeds, and Trial Chambers.
Obviously this isn't gonna be balanced the best and I've probably missed some ideas. If you guys have any other ideas for balance changes or new arrow types, quote this post.
I'm probably gonna make a project to describe how these arrows would work. (I might even see if I can make a mod for Minecraft to add these)
This was my exact idea for the Fletching Table too. I think it would be really cool and have some pretty fun combinations, and further diversify the game's combat system. (Sometimes I wish games like Minecraft had official suggestions forums like Scratch does)That's what the fletching table could be used for: crafting special arrows!
