I've been working on a scratch game for quite a while now. There was one sprite in it that had a massive amount of code.
I really, really dislike how easy it is to delete a sprite - and that the deletion is irreversible. I accidentally deleted that one sprite and now my game is completely broken. I have almost 0 will to restart, after putting in so many hours.

I sent a message to the Scratch team hoping they can recover a previous version that has the majority of the code I can still use. But I am suggesting a confirmation of sprite deletion button that appears whenever you press the trash-can on top of a sprite.

This has really made me so sad losing so much work. I don't want it to happen again, to me, and to other people.

You can actually restore sprites, by going to Edit > Restore Sprite.
As for adding a confirmation button, this is a duplicate. Please continue the conversation there.
