Meh, gmail would look better if it went back to this sort of style:
https://web.archive.org/web/20050404043703/http://gmail.google.com/?dest=http://gmail.google.com/gmail

Just rounded corners alone wouldn't really change much, and would make the user interface look worse.

As for websites that actually look better with rounded corners, here's my list:

Pretty good list, ain't it?

I feel like the search bar might be fine with the rounded corners, either that or fully extend it over the main email box (i don't have the time to figure out where to put those buttons), but other than that it looks way better.

After a few minutes, the search bar looks fine. There was definitely something odd about it I saw earlier, but it seems to be fine now.

This looks good as well, except for the trash button, which singlehandedly ruins this entire screenshot.

You should have seen the costume, paint, and sound editor – they're even worse.

Personally I prefer old school hacky style websites. Not the raving party ones with gifs everywhere and such, it still needs to be clean, but similar to these forums, they are straight to the point and don't have any annoying animations that just make me mad .

You may potentially be interested, because my website is based on bootstrap. But I will have coded it specifically to not have any animations.

How in Pico did you get the rounded corners off a website?

One word: DevTools (just go into the elements panel and remove all the rounded element stuff – border-radius, border-top-left-radius, etc.)

Wait a second, border-radius isn't there when searching in the scratch editor.

document.body.insertAdjacentHTML('beforeEnd', `<style>* {
    border-radius: 0 !important;
}</style>`);
tbh most scratch pages look better, expect for the messages counter
