Some instruments at the MIDI instruments change between the edit mode and the final Project. Why?

If you are talking about MIDI being MIDI in 1.x and MIDI being sound files in 2.0, that's intentional.
No I don't make projects anymore. I left some time ago.
I only check the forums every now and then, but other than that consider me retired.

Hi.Hi PPJB,
Some instruments at the MIDI instruments change between the edit mode and the final Project. Why?
It sounds like you're still using Scratch 1.4 or lower. Since Scratch 2.0 runs in Flash, it doesn't have MIDI support, a different sound library has to be used. As a result, some of the sounds from Scratch 1.4 go missing when uploaded to Scratch 2.0. Hopefully the sound library for Scratch 2.0 can be completed soon.
