semi-support. the text I definitely like, but this is just the 2.0 palette, which doesn't have the bright energetic look scratch 3.0 has.

It isn't. It has to be like this to increase contrast and I would prefer it rather than pastel.

I 100% understand that you wish this to be added to be added to Scratch 3.0, but:
1. That's just the 2.0 colors bruh
2. My eyes + bright white = does not mix
3. Returning Scratchers could be confused as they might think it's not the same Scratch
I also agree with -Valtren- in the No Support part:

Psst… If I were using the support convention, this would be “No Support”.

These proposed colours are designed to meet WCAG AA standards (I think that not only stats matter) and be easily distinguishable – colourblind or not – while being similar to the old ones. The text is bolder and has a shadow so it looks better and is easily readable.

Reasoning:
1. We've had white text for 15 years now
2. As a user with “average” eyesight I find the new black text pops less and is very tiring to read
3. They contrast with the rest of the editor
4. Your new blocks, as well as the old ones, have the colourblindness problem; new ones aggravate it
5. Your new colours are too pastel
6. Tested with different types of colourblindness; with the -omaly ones it works superb, for the rest it is OK
7. I have set my display to minimum brightness; I had no problem in telling the colours apart
The block colours you are proposing are too dark.

To be honest, I'm already comfortable with the current block colours (and also the high-contrast block colours on Scratch Lab), but changing the block colours to… these, would hurt my eyes because it would clash with the current colour palette.

I would rather have these than the cursed pastel colours in Scratch Lab.

They look nice I think, and nobody would get confused if they do change because the block colors have changed in the different versions, and nobody's been complaining about that.

It's more practical but at the same time it doesn't really fit with Scratch's theme. Dark colors don't really contrast well with the bright and friendly look of the rest of the website.

No support for reasons stated above.

Though the suggestion has good intentions, it seems like people are split about changing the palette.

I know it's a separate suggestion, but I think it'd be better to have the ability to customize the block colors so that people could use the palette they prefer. While this can already be done, it requires the use of browser extensions.

This might be added, it's in the scratch lab: https://lab.scratch.mit.edu/contrast-blocks/

Anyways support, it would be easier to see.

Well this is the opposite, these are darker. The SL ones look cursed!

Just allow customising them with presets?

I believe there is a way to give feedback through the Scratch Lab site? That would be a good way for you to pass on your concerns.

This suggestion is because the current ones aren't accesible! Do you like these ones or the ones in Scratch Lab better>
