The spike email client, and the excessive emails from the team.

Spike is a recently uploaded (to the play store) email client that puts emails into a sort of “texting” format. Sure it's a decent app that I tried for 2 seconds then immediately decided I did not need. Cool, just uninstall it? Yes, you can. But it will send you emails CONSTANTLY.

Examples:

This is outrageous, I haven't before this one had a single service email me this much in such a short span of time, why?

This goes to show that the app isn't the only determining factor if an app is good. The company itself can have a huge impact on the service. What are the point of these emails?

Netflix? Literally any other streaming service?

Also, to fix your problem, simply set up an anti-spam filter and add “team@spikenow.com” to it.

“unsubscribe” exists right?

I'd guess the point of the emails is to get you to do the things they want - I'm sure there are a few people in the world who don't find excessive emails annoying.

Well, at the very bottom of one of those images, I see:

Is hearing from Spike not your cup of tea? Modify your preferences
(thanks ZZC12345 for correcting me)

It says “hearing”.

Just unsubscribe, and anyway, this isn't really AT-related.

What I mean is when I use gMail, I don't get a “unsubscribe” button next to the email address.

I don't know much about GMail, but it's definetly is there for Jayden (and the actual unsubscribe button in the body isn't really hidden) so it's not that big of a problem.
