i mean like when ONE 18 first dropped a lot of people really didn't like it so some of them were like “ykw i'm rewriting this episode”
ask any one of them and they'll most likely tell you it's just liam sending everyone on the plane back home
first of all, liam doesn't know how to use the computer. unless it takes place years in the future, having him TP everyone back lickety-split is contradicting a lot of lore.
second, a “happily ever after” wouldn't work in a show like ONE. its atmosphere is supposed to be dark and hopeless, it would make the most sense for its ending to be so as well.
third, ONE 18 is already a well-written episode. does it have flaws? yes, but not enough to keep it from being good.
