Orange OS LE | Maybe it's not dead???
Some bad news…
This error happens when running orangeinstall and archinstall. However, when running orangeinstall, it immediately reboots back to the ISO, but I can tell it's the very same error.
I think I know what it is. Basically, a while back I was using a few months old arch linux iso, and when I made a new VM with it, I got the same error when running pacman. Then, I got a newer arch linux iso and it worked fine. I think it's because some checksum key is too out of date. I tested it in 2 VM's, and got the same problem.
The solution is to build a new ISO, that uses the latest archlinux-keyring package.

Orange OS LE | Maybe it's not dead???
In other news, I found a way to install arch linux on arm, using a cool multi-boot thing call PINN that I found in the rpi imager.
I can't guarantee it works, because it's taking a very long time to install (maybe becuase I'm install ubuntu mate and rpi OS with it), but if it does work I'll try install oOS on it.

Okay so some updates and help on arch linux arm.
1. Login with the username root and the password root.
2. WiFi didn't work for me so connect with ethernet if possible.
3. To install stuff you need to run “pacman-key –init” first. And maybe “pacman-key –populate”
4. It comes with very little packages, not even “sudo” so you will have to install them. Also here is some stuff for audio and bluetooth that you might want to install: https://gist.github.com/theramiyer/cb2b406128e54faa12c37e1a01f7ae15#install-packages
5. You also need to install python.
6. We should probably make a raspberry pi edition of the installer to do some of this for you.

I just realised something… we can't have it run archinstall because it's already installed! I'm gonna make a raspberry pi edition now. Okay so some updates and help on arch linux arm.

Okay, I've made the script and posted the instructions on GitHub and I'm about to test it… probably won't work yet though.I just realised something… we can't have it run archinstall because it's already installed! After a lot of troubleshooting, the orange os le raspberry pi edition script is working so far… well find out the result soon.
The only difference between it and the standard version is the lack of gnome boxes (a virtualization app, not very useful on a raspberry pi anyway). It broke because of dependencies that didn't exist on arch linux arm, related to x86_64 virtualization.

Okay! Thx! I found that out manually. I'm gonna make a tutorial for noobs like me, but I figured it out. The install script for Rpi is running right now.
