Should This Scratch Page that should be removed…?
WOW, I found a Scratch 2.0 thing. For the “Scratch 2 Offline Editor” I feel like I got a virus because it wouldn’t say I was logged in. Probably because it was on cdn.scratch.mit.edu, but my browser tab said “Not Secure” IN RED. I don’t feel like this topic should go here, but it doesn’t feel like a safe part of scratch. I can link it if you want… if you want.

If it says “not secure” that means the information you input there could be hacked and accessed by others, the scratch team themselves are not going to give you malware WOW, I found a Scratch 2.0 thing. Keyword: COULD. It may also be a browser glitch. If it says “not secure” that means the information you input there could be hacked and accessed by others, the scratch team themselves are not going to give you malware
Please don't remove the automatic browser/OS info after making a new Bugs and Glitches forum post, that information really helps a lot!
(unless you are reporting from a different device, then you should specify what device, OS, and browser you have)

It's probably a glitch with your browser. I'm able to access it on HTTPS.
The Scratch 2 download page is just there for people who don't like 3.0/like 2.0 more to get the old editor as a downloadable program. The 1.4 download is still up too.

I'd recommend leaving that page. You aren't on the right version of the website, try using links that aren't on the CDN of scratch, because that is for images, not web pages.

You're visiting that page over HTTP, so your browser is telling you that the connection to our website is not encrypted or verified. Change the URL to HTTPS and that goes away. How did you get to that page though? As others have pointed out, that's our CDN - you're not intended to visit it directly. It's probably a glitch with your browser. Firefox automatically redirected me to the same page on HTTPS (which means it's secure). It's probably a glitch with your browser. I'm able to access it on HTTPS.http://cdn.scratch.mit.edu/scratchr2/static/scratch2download.html

Anyway, this is just the old editor download page from before a redesign happened sometime in the mid-2.0 era, somehow archived on their CDN (content delivery network, for those who don't know). Nothing worth getting too concerned over.
