Having a poll to bring back a project that has been taken down.
Many people hate having one of their best projects get taken down due to literal children reporting them. So I propose a button in those notifications telling you “Your project has been taken down.”
It would require at least 1/5 of the views it had to be voted on, to be brought back.
Petition to have this added?

So how would people even vote for the project to come back?
Also, for example if the project is about an offsite chat server, then most of the people who click that want to join that offsite chat server, and only a fifth of the viewers need to say yes for it to come back? Probably at least a third of the people who view it want to join. This could be easily exploited. If you really need your project back then email the scratch team.

Here are some of my followers!
I joined: 5 years, 9 months, 24 days ago (31/03/2018)
I have: 479 followers
In total, I have attained: 1,403 loves, 1,145 favourites, and 33,731 views.
Fun Fact: If my account continued to gain followers at a similar rate to right now, in 14,210 years I would reach the number of followers griffpatch has today! Try to imagine how many followers he would have then!
Thank you everyone!

The ST doesn’t listen to petitions and will even take them down, because of course someone will be angry their project got taken down. The ST obviously is against petitions and doesn’t support them on the site.

Hello Scratch Team. You have been pushing a liberal political agenda on this site for far too long. This site should stay out of politics. People should be able to still post their political opinions, but there shouldn’t be any “official” political stance or Scratch. The ST is not going to change this on their own, and shoot down any attempts asking them to change. Please put this in your signature if you agree that
Scratch should be politically neutral.
The ST’s biggest defense is that they’re being welcoming, but they can be perfectly welcoming of all people and stay out of politics. Scratch is about coding, and that should be the Scratch Team’s biggest concern to maintain.

What im really trying to change here is the amount of people losing many projects a day due to kids who lied about their age to get on this site.
I'm just salty because one of my best projects got taken down.

What do you mean by this? People of all ages are allowed on scratch, so lying about your age shouldn’t really change anything. due to kids who lied about their age to get on this site.
Use I'm just salty because one of my best projects got taken down.contact us to ask the ST about it and to review it and put it back up.
The mass reporting system is actually really helpful. It helps bad projects to get taken down quickly. Although it results in some false positives, the ST always puts the projects back up if they didn’t break the CGs. What im really trying to change here is the amount of people losing many projects a day

The community censor feature is temporary. We always review these projects and reinstate them if we determine that they're appropriate for the Scratch community. I understand the delay can be frustrating sometimes, but we think this is a useful feature for the safety of the community.
That's actually somewhat tangential to your personal situation, though. In your case, your project was removed manually, by a Scratch Team member. It is important to remember that young kids are allowed to be on Scratch, so projects you share need to be appropriate for them, too. Scratch is for all ages, so no one needs to lie about their age to participate here. If you don't understand why we decided that your project was not appropriate for all ages, please use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. You should also review the Community Guidelines, which give a broad overview of what sort of content we think is right for Scratch.
