Stats For Projects

Wouldn't it be such a useful thing, if you could click on a button, and it would show you the stats of the project. Like, say, how many blocks there are total, total sprites, even total costumes! Also, in order to help creators know how long they have been working on the project, it will say how long that they have been coding on that project. I think this would be a good feature to add in.

Have a nice day!

Block counter is a duplicate.

I actually really like this part and I'm surprised I haven't seen such a suggestion before. Many Scratchers have asked me before how many hours I spent working on a project, but I don't really keep track of that, so I never know what to say. It's like asking me how many apples I've eaten during the time in which I've worked on the project — it doesn't really matter, so I don't count.

But even aside from the users who ask me about it — I think it would be kind of interesting for myself to see how long I've worked on certain projects, and compare them to the other projects I've made.

So it will be added? I am also very curious how long people have been working on projects and I absolutely support it!

I think the total time counter should only count days, not hours.
Also it should be in the main project page, not the editor. Maybe like this:

That's actually a pretty good idea, but the total blocks, sprites and costumes should be shown inside the project.

Perhaps it could also show on the project viewing page:

I'm sorry, I didn't see the post. But, we are not only talking about Block Counting.

Yes, but many Scratchers like listing their project stats in the Instructions and Notes & Credits.

Some Scratchers go through the pain of counting the blocks and sprites, AND counting the time they coded the project. So…

yes, but this would fix that problem, and you are basically stating a no support reason for your own suggestion
