Help! My micro;bit keeps showing “

504” and it won't work! I was going to use it on scratch when I got this error, I tried resetting it and going into maintenance mode but nothing worked!

My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.15, Firefox 101.0, No Flash version detected

You can test it at makecode.microbit.org because that is the official microbit website. Try showing leds and random stuff. If it still doesn't work, there might be a problem with the microbit. you can report it at this link: https://support.microbit.org/support/tickets/new

(If your connecting using wired connection) There should be two USB places you can plug your USB into the microbit in, use the silver one for downloading. Error 504 means it took to long to download, so it may also mean your file is too big.

According to support.microbit.com , the info for error 504 is that “The transfer of the hex file to the micro:bit has timed out. This means that the flashing process has taken too long. This error might also occur if the file does not have the .hex extension.”

But i don't think that info would have helped anyways.
