This would be a huge help in advertising, but I do have 1 question, If link sharing was OFF and I put a link in, would it act like it flagged the filterbot*? or would it just not be a hyper link, but just a link that can get copied,

It could be like the “Swear word detected” for project titles and descriptions, and it would flag whatever would turn into a hyperlink

Hm, maybe? But I think advertising would still exist. A commenter who was advertising could instead just say "Hey Please Check Out My Project '. I think eventually this would become the new way of advertising assuming this was enabled, thus I can't support this as it sort of just pushes the problem aside.
