Introduction

Welcome to the Memory Book Committee (MBC) for SWC this July! This session, the committee will be led by Birdi (@bellevue91 - she/her), Faer (@bIxez - she/her), and myself, Elle (@-everiasting - she/her). We're excited work with all of you to create a phenomenal memory book for the end of another session of SWC.

Who can participate
We welcome all leading positions for SWC. This includes Hosts, Co-Hosts, Leaders, and Co-Leaders. Basically if you have access to the leader forum, an offer has been extended to you through the leader forum to join the MBC. (To specify: you were given access. We're not talking if you found it by scrolling and scrolling. We're talking about if a (Co)Host or Leader gave you a link.

TL;DR if you…
- are a Host, Co-Host, Leader, or Co-Leader
…you automatically are extended an opportunity to join.

- have helped design and assemble the memory book in the past (this does not include designing the front and/or back covers)
- are planning on participating in SWC as a camper
- have asked Birdi, Faer, or I if you could join
…we will happily send a link to this forum to you.

So if you see a camper around on the Canva or in the forum, we have probably told them they could join <3 We're not super strict on this, we just want to keep it to people who are currently in SWC, are in leading positions, and have done this before. If you fit at least two of those requirements, you're good to go!

Introducing Yourself

Please begin by giving the whole post a read so you can familiarize yourself with the plan and the formatting and organization of the post. Then reply with the following:

Jobs

Screenshotters
If you choose to help with taking screenshots, all you need to do is screenshot silly comment chains or moments you see in any cabin, including the main cabin. Before screenshotting, get permission from anyone who would be in the screenshot.

Quote Collectors
Quote collectors, you are on a hunt for quotes from all cabins! These can be silly, serious, or whatever! Just make sure to ask the person you'll be quoting if it's okay to have them quoted in the memory book. Then, just add the quote directly into the memory book on the designated page.

Designers
Your job is to design the memory book. Try to reflect each cabin in the pages as best you can, and see what the cabin leaders think of the design. This is an important job!

Stipulations

When campers sign up, they're asked whether they always want to be screenshotted, never want to be screenshotted, or if they want to be asked first. This is a list to help with that so you don't have to search through the camper project. Hopefully we should get all of the leaders here too.
Always means you don't need to be asked to be screenshotted/quoted
Ask first means you would like to be asked first before a screenshot/quote is used in the memory book
Never means you don't want any screenshots or quotes from you in the memory book

If doing a page search is an option on your device, I suggest using that to find people on these lists (make sure you try different variations like ‘I’ (‘i’) and ‘l’ (‘L’) to make sure it didn’t get spelled wrong)
If the user you are looking for is not here, assume they would prefer to be asked first.
