I can imagine the majority of these poop things will be cheaply made to cash in on a market trend, probably only last a few months before they break and be subject to purgatory via landfill, where they will spend their final 1000 or so years leaking toxins from the plastic in to this Earth, further killing us all.
Today, I had lunch at Burger King, and noticed that they had made a MASSIVE change.
They have removed toys from the King Jr. Meals.
You think that's a good move? Wait until you hear what they did next.
They have introduced Meltdown.
Meltdown is a campaign where you can recycle old plastic toys, including Happy Meal and King Jr. Meal toys, and they will be sent off to be melted down and made into play areas for kids at BK.
Clever, isn't it?
Also, the campaign has a handful of mascots, but the most iconic is Beep Beep. They even made a sculpture of her to stand outside a BK restaurant (which I hope they'll also melt down once they are done with it).
I've even put aside a MASSIVE pile of some old plastic toys of mine to donate to Meltdown!
Oh, and if you were wondering, here's Beep Beep before she melted.

EDIT: Quote me for the image links to work.
Quoting ‘cuz I wanted to add more but new Scratchers are only allowed to edit posts once:
My favourite part of the advertising? The fact that they don’t anthropomorphise the toys!
At the end of the day, if kids believe that Beep Beep and her friends are just inanimate objects, then they will believe that about their useless toys too.
I also like how non-graphic the melting looks.
The toys are just dripping with melted plastic as they sink into a puddle. No bubbling. No sizzling.
Honestly, just look for yourself.
I also love the promotional King Jr. Meal boxes too!
Oh, and here's the website link.

EDIT: Quote me for the links to show up
RAHH I REMEMBER THE MELTDOWN THINGY-

i think i remember having like a sticker of beep beep and sticking it to my window-
