I was perm banned on another acc, and i couldn’t appeal or anything. It said I was banned for breaking CGs too many times, and the reasoning they listed appeared to be mutes. The mutes they listed were like a month apart, and I know for a fact that I rarely get muted for actually saying stuff that violates CGs, and more likely than not am muted for random stuff that trips the bot (ex: typos, keyboard smashes, et cetera) Does anyone know whether or not I can get the acc back? I emailed the scratch team a couple times the day after it happened and got no response. It’s been a week.

I had no option to do that on the banned acc since I was perm banned. I tried to contact the ST a few times on this acc with no results

You shouldn't be ban evading, especially if it is a perma ban.

But I don't think you should use any account (old or new) if you are banned, It would count as ban evading and can make the situtation worse.

You are currently ban evading, this is when you create/use an alternate account to get around a ban, please sign out immediately

Did you see a repeal form on your ban page? If so, wait roughly 3 weeks, and then use that.
If not, then it might be time to move onto a different coding platform, try snap!, beetle blocks, or tynker

If you wanna move onto a text-based coding language, try ruby or javascript

I had to use a new account to appeal (“Contact Us” wasn’t working on the banner account for some reason.) I finally got a hold of an ST member a few minutes after I made this forum post. I will log out until I get a response, though.

You should email ST for appeals I believe, ST may take a while to respond, they are having a hard time answering appeals currently do to the massive influx from the pandemic.

This is correct. A block is for the person, not the account. If you were blocked on an account it is up to you to work with the Scratch Team to get the block removed before continuing to interact on Scratch. Since there was no appeal option on the old account, your best bet is to use Contact Us to make your case that you should be permitted back on the site.
