Comments from 2.0 appear glitched. Why?
(Comments are screenshots from old projects of mine on an old account)

(My grammar was very poor back then, I was 11. But the content of the comments don’t really matter, just the glitch)
This might count as a glitch so if it does feel free to report it to be moved
I noticed that many old comments from the 2.0 era had this glitch where words with apostrophes ‘ “ (like “isn’t) got changed to the Unicode string for them (dunno the exact term) and I have no idea why.
Does anyone know what caused this to happen? Is it possible for the ST to recover the original comments? It’s not too big of a deal but can be a bit confusing if you aren’t aware that ' = ‘ .
Apologies if sharing he images with uncensored usernames counts as naming and shaming, I’m just trying to give examples of what the comments look like. If needed I can edit out the usernames and icons (aside from my own) though both of the users are/were friends of mine.

It might be the formatting of the comments. Scratch 2.0 probably used a different formatting system to Scratch 3.0, so when Scratch updated, the format of the comments broke immediately.

Not a glitch, the older version of the scratch website used a different method for escaping characters that represent special HTML characters, mainly " ' & and < > .
Also this topic is a duplicate of this one here.

Not a glitch, the older version of the scratch website used a different method for escaping characters that represent special HTML characters, mainly " ' & and < > .And those characters weren't converted when moving comments to the current version of the website, so it is a glitch.

Do you think it’ll be possible for the ST to recover the original comments? Not a glitch, the older version of the scratch website used a different method for escaping characters that represent special HTML characters, mainly " ' & and < > .And those characters weren't converted when moving comments to the current version of the website, so it is a glitch.
It’s not too big of a deal, but it is a bit confusing to read the comments.

They would probably have already done that if they wanted to – apparently they don't think it's very important.Do you think it’ll be possible for the ST to recover the original comments? Not a glitch, the older version of the scratch website used a different method for escaping characters that represent special HTML characters, mainly " ' & and < > .And those characters weren't converted when moving comments to the current version of the website, so it is a glitch.
