Hello! Currently in GameJolt you can post something with backgrounds or little patterns. I think Scratch should do the same in the forums.

Pros

• Sprucing up those plain posts to make them more fun to read
  
• Decorates the post with little patterns or blender renders (Maybe a little scratch cat orange pattern, or 90's shapes)
  

Cons

• Only for the original post
  
• Patterns will have to be decided by the ST, which design wise will take some time
  

Also like GameJolt the text area would be in a div with a bit of padding in the center of the image so that the user doesn't have to worry about text readability.

I think this would be a great feature to add onto the many others on this wonderful site, and would help add some interest into the topic.

(also, maybe the topic item in the main forum page could be styled as well.)
