Sprite not being detected by other sprite

Hi in my game i have a part which says:

if <touching [Mario] ?> then
broadcast [Super mushroom touch]
end

then on the Mario side i have

when I receive [Super mushroom touch]
switch costume to [Big stand]

however this just doesnt work.

Im not sure why.

Any help is good help!
