I'm making a game for a school project where scratch-cat is falling and has to avoid obstacles. Except the school Chromebooks constantly lag on scratch, the way the game works is that it clones the obstacle sprite. Everything except the cloning function freezes when it lags. Is there a way to stop the clones from spawning during the lag?

Just for clarification, the lag itself is acceptable, it's just that when it does lag it has the chance of making your run end because 2 obstacles can spawn on both sides.

Must be an issue with your Chromebook, works just fine for me.
