Question about What The Community Is Remixing
Couldn‘t you just remix your own project a ton of times and get it on there? Or does scratch need to approve it?

Question about What The Community Is Remixing
Before anyone says you can't remix your own projects, you actually can with a glitch. As for your question, it's pretty random and even 100 remixes won't guarantee that your project hits the top.

It could potentially happen (since that row is completely automated), but you would get punished for breaking the Terms of Use
3.5 You agree not to use Scratch in any way intended to disrupt the service, gain unauthorized access to the service, or interfere with any other user's ability to use the service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Posting content deliberately designed to crash the Scratch website or editor;
- Linking to pages containing viruses or malware;
- Using administrator passwords or pretending to be an administrator;
- Repeatedly posting the same material, or “spamming”;
- Using alternate accounts or organizing voting groups to manipulate site statistics, such as purposely trying to get on the “What the Community is Loving/Remixing” rows of the front page.

Question about What The Community Is Remixing
I think the Scratch Team has ways to prevent this from happening. That being said… So like if you went on another account and remixed your project a ton of times, would it still be in What the Community is Remixing
Indeed, if you try to game your way to the front page, you may get alerted for this, and potentially banned if it keeps happening. Maybe. But it might get you banned.
