It depends on the reason for the alert.

It really depends on the severity of what was reported. Something just barely breaking the guidelines? Won't get you banned, but will give you an alert. Something really breaking the guidelines? Banned.

EDIT: now that I see you're really wondering how many, it varies. Someone could have one alert and get banned, yet other times have 5 alerts and not get banned. As I said, it really depends on the severity.

In memorial of ScratchCat1038's old siggy, eaten by an army of 824 kumquats. Or was it 625? I forget.

Luckily I have a new siggy!

I rickrolled the support convention away, and you should too!

No like the reason for the alert.

Like is it an alert for an unmoderated chat? Forum spam? Mean post? Please elaborate.

From past experiences, 3 unmod chat alerts get you banned for 3 months.

If its spam, most likely you'll get a temporary mute. Same with a mean post.

Sometimes it's just an alert and nothing else.

Again, it depends on what kind of alert it is.
Certain ones will get you banned immediately, some will just get you banned for 3 days.
Repeating such bannable actions will get you banned for 3 to 6 months or a permanent ban/account deletion.

If you're talking about “mass reporting”, then the exact amount of reports required to take down a project and get a temp block is currently unknown. However, in general, your project/post will be taken down and (if it's a minor offense) you'll get an alert, but if it's a major offense, you may recieve a temp block.

If you're wanting to know, if 4 different people report your project the project will be taken down and you'll get a 12 hour temporary ban until the Scratch Team review the project. This is to help take down inappropriate projects while the Scratch Team are busy with other reports and keep those potentially inappropriate projects from being seen by other people.

My Operating System: Windows 11 Pro
My Browser: Google Chrome
Outside of Scratch I know how to program in Python, I'm learning JavaScript and working on some projects.

Source? Also what if 4 people mass reported a popular project?
