How can we know that we are banned in scratch?

You will get a message saying so and most links will also redirect to the community guidelines.

If you were banned, you wouldn't be able to access the site via your account. You aren't banned, since i can see your post and you're on your account.

If you were muted (unable to comment for X amount of time) you would get notified when you get muted and when you can comment again, also when you try to comment within the set period.

You'll only get banned if you do bad things though, it doesn't happen to the innocent. Mutes only happen if you try to say bad things or mistakenly say a bad thing.

there can be many reasons for if your account is banned on scratch

also some of the reasons can be pretty harsh but i am not going through them
and it can be pretty hard getting an account unbanned (it happened to my alt account once)
if you see this ( scratch.mit.edu/accounts/banned-response) then that's a sign that you are banned
