Just wondering, how are you going to do this? Are you going to utilize Replit? What VR platforms will this be available on? Where's the original ScratchVR?

The original is by @underpig and makes clever use of Video Sensing to give a VR experience.
And no, we will not be using Replit since it has no support for Scratch so far.

Secondly, as I said, how? You can't make a Scratch project, it won't work. The only way I could think of to make it is to recreate the entire Scratch engine and then have enough knowledge with VR projects to convert a 2D screen into a 3D, 360 screen and allow support for any vr headset that isn't Google Cardboard or something like it. That's nearly impossible. There are some great creators on Scratch but I don't think any can do that.

Dude, @underpig already made a ScratchVR engine. So it's obviously possible. It'll just take some time. All you need is a 3D tutorial (or if we will get someone on the 3D position, we won't need it) and then just make a few camera variables, fiddle w/ it for a bit so it works with camera sensing, make a tracker (like @underpig did), and there you have it. (obv its a bit more than that but yea, no remaking scratch here lol)

The only thing it could have support for is Google Cardboard and maybe Oculus Go. No Quest/Quest 2 or Rift. Even then it will still be massively buggy.

How? You never tested it, did you? If you didn't (SUPER likely,) stop trying to find ways to make this impossible. CHECK UNDERPIG'S VR ENGINE FOR PETE'S SAKEWell, maybe use the browser on Quest(2)???It still wouldn't work.

Underpig's VR engine doesn't work for Quest. I have a Quest headset and am happy to show it later. I've tested Scratch on it and it doesn't work. The screen is 2d, meaning you can't look around and see it. There's no immersive experience option. Heck, you can't even use the controllers to move. How? You never tested it, did you? CHECK UNDERPIG'S VR ENGINE FOR PETE'S SAKEWell, maybe use the browser on Quest(2)???It still wouldn't work.
If you didn't (SUPER likely,) stop trying to find ways to make this impossible.I'm not trying to find ways to make it impossible. It is impossible. There is no way to play VR on a 2d canvas, excluding Oculus GO and Cardboard. The only way to do it would be to remix the Scratch engine as a whole and find a way to turn it 3D, and then into VR.
Edit: If Scratch made a Scratch app for Oculus Platforms it could be possible, but that is very unlikely.

That's what I'm trying to fix. Sure, Quest might have no support, but did I ever say there will be? OSes on Scratch are useless, yet you are trying to save one. Did I mention that making an OS is also very hard? Yet they all pushed through and made an OS. So I will push through, get enough coders, and make VR on Scratch even better.
define annoying

You call me “annoying” but I'm just stating facts. Making an OS is 1000x easier than VR. VR on Scratch is already as good as it can be.I'm not trying to find ways to make it impossible. Ok so I just read through all of this and dang. 1. Nothing is impossible 2. The curator of this project is the kind of person that can lead things like this, he believes that we can do this and that is what we need. I believe that this can work and i'm willing to help. You call me “annoying” but I'm just stating facts. Making an OS is 1000x easier than VR. I am not a good coder but I can do logo's and music. I am the owner of @FireSpreadStudios so if you would like my studio could own/kinda sponser and help you out. I can try to help you find some coders too.
