A thing really upsetting
Hi,
I think the fact that each time I remix a project, it does appear in the thread, is really upsetting.
I remix project, and I keep them private, because I want to test some little changes I can make in the program, and see the effects.
The new Scratch has less control over privacy, I don't want people to know everything I make, it tends to look to much as a social network as Facebook in my opinion.
Before, I was testing project by downloading them, but now, the new extension is not compatible with my Scratch software, and I don't know how to download projects, even old projects, under the good extensions, so I remix them to keep them and to test. And I keep them private. I don't want people to know I remix when I don't make them public.
Also, I'd like a feature to put my draft in studio, or to sort them a little, by example, sorting them according to they are from me or based on someone's else's remix.
And, by the way, do you know if there will be improvements in the drawing editor? I can't figure how to add transparency.
Thank you for your replies.

A downloadable version of 2.0 is supposed to be coming this summer so it shouldn't be too much longer before you can make changes without them being saved. Before, I was testing project by downloading them,
You can use the ghost effect block to add transparency. Go to looks and use the And, by the way, do you know if there will be improvements in the drawing editor? I can't figure how to add transparency.

You can use the ghost effect block to add transparency. No, I mean when editing a sprite, as in the old editor and in GIMP for example. If you search in Google image, “transparent” images, you will have some examples, it is images with “canal alpha”.
A downloadable version of 2.0 is supposed to be coming this summerYes I know, but we could have the ability to save the old projects under the old extension in the meantime I think.
Just mark it unshared.No, as I mentioned it, they are not shared, but they appear in the what's new of the owner of the projects. See this page, you'll understand;

For some people who don't give credit, there is a link to the original. To keep them private, click unshare on your project you remixed. Hi,

My problem is not there.
English is not my language, so, maybe my expression is bad.
I mean I have remixed some projects, but not published them, they are private, UNSHARED, but the authors of the original project get some notifications about my remix (see the link: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/10240066/#comments-13470620)
I don't want people to know what I remix if I have no intention to publish, it's my private thing.

Oh, that's a bug that they still need to fix. My problem is not there.

Thank you! It is the answer I was looking for.
And for the drawing editor? I think they are working on it.
A great thing would be they associate themselves with a open source editor, as Gimp or another one, because the Scratch editor is really limited, especially now.

You can currently use gimp and import pictures, but I dont think Scratch is going to install the program for one, it is a separate program, two, in a different language, and three, too advanced for people who just need a basic editor. Thank you! It is the answer I was looking for.

This is a bug. We thought we'd fixed it last Wednesday, but apparently it's still around. We are going to rewrite the messages system soon. We may generate a notification - but only when the remix is shared, not when it is only remixed.

Good!
And will we have the ability to sort our draft project within categories? (and I have too my drafts and the remix I test, I'd like to see the projects I create apart from the other ones)
For the editor, yes Gimp is too much, but the Scratch editor is too less! A big % of people here are animation makers, and it's very uneasy with the editor. At least I hope they'll add some other basic features.
