How To Use The Pen Tool?

I added the pen tool on the side of the screen, but all it shows is ‘erase all’. How do I make it so it draws something?

That's interesting. Normally, it should show lots of other blocks, such as pen up, pen down, etc. Try scrolling up and down on the block pallete, since it might just be hidden on the screen.

I scrolled up and down, and still couldn't find anything else. Fortunately, I was only in the backdrop, so when I went to a sprite, it showed more blocks. Thanks anyway! The problem is resolved.

The stage is not a sprite and therefore it cannot use any pen blocks other than erase all (stage cannot move, pen gets stamped on the stage)

Pen is written on the stage which is why it's always at the back.
