Crashing Profile Pictures

Since the new studio updates, I've heard about people's (and seen) their profile pictures “crash” and revert back to the original default Scratch Cat.

Is this some sort of bug with the new studio update? Because in the past, this almost never happened, and it can be quite irritating to some.

Nope, in fact, sometimes others can see the pfp, while the specific user cannot.

PFPs and thumbnails are taking time to load to the original owner of the project or the pfp owner's profile. Just wait a day or two and it'll appear.
