How to avoid remixes?
No, Scratch is about sharing. If you don't want anyone to be able to remix your project don't share it.

How to avoid remixes?
If someone copies it exacly you can report them. But even changing the colour of a backdrop is enough to count as a remix. i want to avoid the exact copies
If someone copies and doesn't identify it as a remix you can report it. I had someone copy one of my projects once - all sprites, variables and scripts were the same which was so unlikely - and i reported it. I think they were forced to give me credit even though they still claimed they hadn't copied.
But that's what we agree to when we accept the Terms & Conditions of using Scratch.

How to avoid remixes?
If someone remixes your project and doesn't change anything, the project page will still show a link to the original project above the instructions/notes & credits. If someone copies your project some other way without remixing it, you should report it to the Scratch Team. i want to avoid the exact copies

i know we can't completly disable remixes, but is there any way to avoid them with some code?Scratch is about sharing so if it's an exact copy, you can report it. If it's changed, you can't. BUT people can save projects to their computer, then load it back and the remix credits won't appear so that's a whole other issue. Hello
the robotkid828 suddenly appears!
random programmer/game developer here, probably wont be on scratch much other than the forums.

How to avoid remixes?
You can't, but you migth complicate the thing a bit
An example:
https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/488227421/
You try to figure out why you can't
A tip, inspect the whole programming XD

How to avoid remixes?
As other people said, there's no way to prevent remixes, but what is the reason you want your project to not be remixed? There might be a workaround for your purpose.
