as a touhou style-composer the zunpet is a good attempt (but it is not very good)
is there a way to do multisampling? (using more than one sample for the same instrument)

also ask main character if they can add an option to upload custom soundfonts (.sf2, .SFZ)

edit: i thought this was kotp but i misread

1:I know, I didn't spend too much time on it because I wanted to get the update done today (I will try to improve it next update)

2:the samples are basically just huge chip waves, so probably not without recording a large portion of how beepbox handles them (which is also why the sound effects loop)

3:soundfonts are something that is beyond either of our understanding, and there also comes with the issue that every sample is around 10000 lines, so saving whole soundfonts in a url would lag a ton, if even possible

Why was the 2nd one closed??? It wasn't even at 100 pages yet?
Moving on, i challenge someone on here to try to make a cover of High Above The Land on beepbox/jummbox. IT was one of the first songs i attempted and wanted to see how well other would do as there doesnt seem to be any covers of it yet.

Also, here's a song from the same game i made a while ago:

I might switch from beepbox to Pandora's Box

didnt realize that I already posted before.

i misread/misheard natural notes as neutral

are 4 32nd notes equal to ?

beepbox and probably none of the mods have microtones

beepbox fandom wiki is more unreliable than wikipedia, the ‘rhythm’ section under song settings is a sentence that basically explains a part of the time signature, not the smallest length of notes in freehand

is freehand's minimum 64th notes?
the 8th rhythm minimum is 16th
the 4th one is 8th
the 3rd is 6th
am i right?

Do any of you have any beginner-friendly guides to understanding music theory? I'm tired of just clicking things and hoping they sound good - I'd like to know what sounds good and (more importantly) why things sound good.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

i've taken band class for two years, i played trumpet, then dropped it, i never practiced at home, mostly because my face isn't build for trumpet and i dont take music class anymore, since my school only lets me take one extra class to replace PE, i chose Visual Art, so i guess i'm teaching myself music.

once again a new update!!
https://paandorasbox.github.io/
this one hopefully corrects all the detuned instruments, and also fixes samples ignoring the song key (percussion samples still ignore the song key though)
(though this does mean all previous songs with samples are now detuned, sorry about that)
