sonic mania rarely uses the sega instruments. its mostly old 80s sounds and some other stuff. im PRETTY sure they dont have the md soundfont used in it. thanks tho

someone pls give feedback. i want to be mediocre at this
first of all, I think that drum channel 3 is definitely too loud. Additionally, when I first opened the song, I thought that my headphones were having audio glitches. I would personally tweak that instrument.
Second, I think the song needs some more musical depth to it. more instruments, maybe some chords. but that's just me.

try a square wave then mess with the eq filter and add the dissonant filter
