Connect Wii Remote and Balance Board to Scratch 2.0 with iiConnect2Scratch

Hi @gg23,
I've put the extension up on github at http://creativecomputerlab.github.io/iiConnect2Scratch.js
You can load it into scratchx.org. Ignore the “Extension Problem” message - everything is OK.
Then start the iiConnect2Scratch application and click on the “connect to wii” block. The extension
light should turn green to indicate a connection to iiConnect2Scratch. This does not mean you've
connected to the Wii, only that you have connected Scratch to iiConnect2Scratch.

Connect to the Wii via the Windows OS bluetooth driver using these instructions:
http://creativecomputerlab.com/extensions/iiConnect2Scratch.pdf

Once the Wii is connected to the PC and Scratch is connected to the iiConnect2Scratch then
you're good to go!

Regards,
Steve

I am running windows vista and when I launch the program it just crashes and a error comes up like this.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging=“true” />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Connect Wii Remote and Balance Board to Scratch 2.0 with iiConnect2Scratch

Hi,

I tried to connect using windows 10, but to no avail. The iiConnect2Scratch started and the wiimote stops blinking, the light is constantly lit. But when I upload the .sb2 to the new project, and hit the green flag start, it does not show any activities. Is it perhaps the iiConnect2Scratch not supported on Windows 10?

it is supported on window 10, but on scratchx run the “connect to wii” block first otherwise it won't.

Steve
