Not really. Parallels and Crossover Office are quite fast. Linux is coming, but fair point.

This is what happens when you make big changes, half the useful stuff stops working.

You're ignoring me on purpose. You replied to my quote and didn't respond to anything in it.

80% of native and already faster than most processors even with the 20% loss.

Does anyone here have a guess as to WHY the M1 is better than basically all other mobile chips (some desktop chips beat it, but probably because it a laptop chip) It seems unlikely that Apple would be able beat Intel/AMD and yet they did. So how was Apple able to do it?

But Intel and AMD could also do that. So how come they don't?

I'm sure they do. But engineers matter, and good engineers have obviously worked at Apple.

Fun_Cupcake_i81: What, were you expecting not to see the utc - 12 thing again? THE UTC - 12 THIGN ALWAYS RETURNS. ALWAYS.
medians: I knew it would happen. I was the one who started it last year.
Fun_Cupcake_i81: Well then if you didn't want it back maybe you need to time travel to last year and fix that

Oh wait if you could time travel I think we all know exactly when you would go-
user1: That picture is from 2.0. Now he’s at my house and is my pet.
user2: But this is medians we're talking about, so “from 2.0” can mean the same thing as “from five seconds ago”.

Rounded corners are modern UI, why would you want ugly early pre-catalina OSX UI.
