Are pfps with real faces allowed on scratch?

I seen a lot of people with somebody’s face as as pfp. Is this allowed?

note: the st is now deleting pfps with real faces on them

griffpatch has been using a realistic caricature of his own face for several years. It's not quite a photo, but I think it's close enough to an actual human face.

Now outdated. We haven't made any announcements about it yet, but fyi: Due to some changes regarding legal issues, we're staring to remove them (unless it's stylized like griffpatch's pfp, or if the pfp is a known sanctioned photo of a famous person).

I have updated the wiki article. Thanks for the info, but don't you think you should tell people about it ASAP when you make a new rule?

At least I never wanted to use my own real face as my pfp

Your face can tell a lot about you, for example your approximate age, that can be dangerous, so probably best not to
