Images need the alt attribute
In order to make it easier for search engines to index this site, and to make the HTML code more valid, all images should have an alt attribute.
I checked the markup for the home page, and there were 152 errors, of which over 120 were about neglecting the alt attribute on <img /> tags for project thumbnails.

There are quite a few more serious accessibility issues on this site than alt attributes for images (most of which should be empty anyway).
