How do you add Multiplayer to Griffpatch's tile scrolling tutorial?

Can somebody help me with adding multiplayer to tile scrolling tutorial of griffpatch's?

Just save the x and y positions of the other players and display them in the same way you'd display a obstacle or something in the scrolling map.
