Now, people will have to split their comments even more. This might discourage people from posting constructive or helpful comments (I know it is possible through replies, but not everyone does that).

Refined restrictions:
1. No commenting the same word 4 times in a row.
2. New Scratchers can type out 250 while Scratchers can type 350

This is way too few, especially with the reply limit in place for studios. Scratchers can type 350
2. For New Scratchers, it will be 200You do realize that's as much as a Tweet, right? Comments are meant to at least have the ability to be semi-constructive.
Hi! This is an amazing game! I love the way the ball bounces like it would with real physics. I wonder if it's possible to make it 3D, too, so the ball bounces off an imaginary “wall” and into the viewers front screen? Maybe you could use size blocks and changing the background perspective? Anyways, just a thought. I love the art! You did a nice job with the shading. That takes many more characters than
Hi. This is my D!scord: ######Or even
spam!Commenting restrictions would be more effective to help stop some spam (bearing in mind spam will probably die when living creatures go extinct) if they were related to how many comments one could make in a period of time rather than how big they can make it.

They're already so strict though. Having such a strict character limit also discourages making constructive comments as Queer_Royalty said, so no support.

Give me some ideas here.
First of all, it's your thread, dude. The "ideas" fall to YOU. ::motion
Secondly, no support. This is an incredibly needless restriction on an already restrictive character limit. ::motion cap

Do keep in mind that restricting the character limit would not necessarily stop spam. It is completely possible to spam in comments even if the character limit was only 1 character.
