Squid Game: What’s appropriate and what’s not — New Question
I have seen Squid Game and I started to question what exactly is appropriate for Scratch. What can I do and not do when posting projects, studios, etc about this very violent Netflix Series?
Edit: If I see any Squid Game project, studio, etc do I report it?

The deaths are not allowed mentioning in my opinion, and try to avoid turning a kids childhood into disaster.
Edit: Nothing is; and the fact that I forgot it was P18.

Squid Game: What’s appropriate and what’s not — New Question
Don't post anything about it in the first place. Squid Game's age rating is set as M18 for a reason. There are probably many underaged viewers due to the current craze, but that doesn't mean that discussing about the series on scratch is appropriate (although there would most certainly be users who have already watched it). By doing so, you'll most likely either entice other youngsters to find out more about the show, or you could directly convey inappropriate information about it to anyone else who had viewed your discussion, even if it was not intentional.
IMO, it would be best to avoid commenting about the topic altogether.

Even the trailer has really dark scenes in it. By simply mentioning it, you are tempting curious users into finding out more about the show.

This is offtopic, but two days ago like every YTer I watched is posting content about it, even my childhood yter is posting about it. It seems really inappropriate by what the above are saying, so please avoid talking about it.

Yes, because that encourages users to play. Edit: If I see any Squid Game project, studio, etc do I report it?

So we can't discuss certain R-rated works anymore?
(Kids will already hear about it thanks to Roblox. My brother, who is only 8, has already.)

I don't really know, I'm not allowed to watch it but I play games about it on roblox, but I would say you could put one up, but like TurtleLegos said, by putting one up you're are encouraging violence, but like PrincessPandaLover said, everyone already has heard about it due to roblox, but in conclusion, no, you shouldn't be encouraging it, so yes, report it. I have seen Squid Game and I started to question what exactly is appropriate for Scratch. What can I do and not do when posting projects, studios, etc about this very violent Netflix Series?

Squid Game: What’s appropriate and what’s not — New Question
Like my post said, there will definitely be users who already know about these topics through social media or people around them. But for the benefit of those who don't, it's better to assume all users on scratch are underaged, and hence e should avoid partaking in these discussions pertaining to subjects above their age level. So we can't discuss certain R-rated works anymore?

Unless the statement has been obsoleted, I think it was once stated that you can discuss R-rated works as long as you're not discussing the parts that make it R-rated.

Yeah, you are allowed to talk about squid game, as long as you don't say anything that breaks the CGs. It's the same with most things, the FNAF policy doesn't just occur for FNAFSo we can't discuss certain R-rated works anymore?

Squid Game: What’s appropriate and what’s not — New Question
i think before squid game, there was a less violent version made a really long time ago where you try to reach the end, but if the person at the end turns around, you must stay in place, Squid Game On Netflix however, is the one that is pg18 i think I have seen Squid Game and I started to question what exactly is appropriate for Scratch. What can I do and not do when posting projects, studios, etc about this very violent Netflix Series?
Edit: If I see any Squid Game project, studio, etc do I report it?

I'm not trying to play devil's advocate or anything here but I thought it's okay to post such content so long as everything gory and inappropriate is edited out (i.e. art of a character just standing would be fine.)
I definitely understand the concern though.
